Christianity and LGBTQ ?

The Bible is very clear concerning the homosexual {sodomite} lifestyle.

Both the Old Testament and the New Testament have passages condemning the sin of homosexuality.

Until recently nearly all Christians were in agreement that the sin of the Sodomites was an extremely grievous and damning sin.

It must also be affirmed that according to the Word of God, it is impossible to be LGBTQ and be a Christian.

That would be akin to saying that someone is a Christian fornicator or a Christian thief or a Christian drunkard etc.

Creeping into “Christendom” at a rapid pace is the opinion that the sodomite lifestyle is to be accepted and even celebrated. This is totally contrary to the teaching of the Bible.

Society and our government may condone sin but making something legal does not make it Biblically or morally right.

One of the most precious freedoms we enjoy as Americans is the freedom of speech. The freedom to express our beliefs regardless of how repugnant or even offensive some may find them.

Someone has well said; “The First Amendment was designed to protect offensive and unpopular speech.”

Christians are not called to “fit in”.

Today’s Christian should realize that being unpopular or even being hated is not only a possibility, it is what we should expect.

Jesus said; If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. John 15:18-19

The LGBTQ movement “brooks no quarter” for anyone or any organization that will not go along and “celebrate” what the Bible calls a vile and unnatural lifestyle.

Please consider the following from Gods Word…

Homosexuality is a sin worthy of Gods Vengeance.

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”  Jude vs.7

Homosexuality is against nature

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient…”  Romans 1:26-28

Those Living a LGBTQ lifestyle are not going to Heaven.

 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”  I Corinthians 6:9-10

There is hope for the LGBTQ.

“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”         I Corinthians 6:11

Christians are to love and pray for sinners.

We are to have “compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Jude 1:23

  1. You are dead wrong. You don’t have to be perfect to be a Christian, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a sinner and a Christian at the same thing. It is even possible to be a Christian and a bigot…
